Why We Should Choose Palm oil
in Semuntai?
1. Electric growth in Indonesian there are will be high
day by day.
2. Limited of primary energy
3. Kalimantan Timur is one of the provinces of
Indonesian which experienced an energy crisis

Conclusion
1. Semuntai areas have the potential of biomass palm oil big as a
renewable alternative energy with an average production of palm
oil reached 775 tons/day in the year 2015
2. Solid waste utilization of palm oil is the right step in tackling the
energy crisis as well as bad for the environment impact of
plantations in Kalimantan Timur.
3. Electrical power generated from biomass utilization of Palm i.e.
approx. 5.47 MW or able to provide 18.07% of total electric
power shortage in Kalimantan Timur.
4. The construction of a biomass power plant of Palm (PLTBS)
needs to be realized as one of the solutions to energy crisis in
Kalimantan Timur.
