• The adjective is the part of the
sentence that qualifies the noun.
• It expresses the quality of:

• A person:
Will Smith is a tall actor.

• An animal:
Those are beautiful cats

• A thing:
That is a tall building

• An activity:
That is a dangerous activity
adj.

• An action:
That is a bad action
adj.

• We use: more

Soccer is more exciting than basketball.

• We use: less

La Paz is less cold than Oruro.

Tess is the least old woman in the family.
