What year of study are you currently? • Freshman Year: 95 Students (60.13%) • Sophomore Year: 34 Students (21.52%) • Junior Year: 19 Students (12.03%) • Senior Year : 6 Students (3.80%) • Graduate Students: 4 (2.53%) • Over half of students enrolled in EDT are freshman. • Less than half the students are: sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students. 2. What college are you in? • There are a total of 18 colleges at ASU. • Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College – 79 students (50%) • College of Liberal Arts and Sciences - 40 students (25.3%) • 9 other colleges make up the other 25% • Most students enrolled in EDT: Education & Liberal Arts College. • 6 ASU colleges are not present in this course. 3. What is your gender?
• 19.62 percent of students
classified themselves as male. • 77.85 percent of students classified themselves as female. • .63 percent of students classified themselves as other. • 1.90 percent of student preferred not to say. • Roughly, 75% of the population who took this survey were female. • The other 25% were in the remaining categories. 4. How many hours of sleep do you get on a typical weekday?
• 45 Students get around 0 to 6 hours of
sleep = (28.48%) • 104 Students get around 7 to 9 hours of sleep =(65.82%) • 9 students get about 10+ hours of sleep = (5.70%) • The average amount of sleep is approximately 7 hours =(7.25). • The max was 17; was definitely an outlier. • The most common number was 7 hours. 5. What is your gpa? • 0 to 1.0 GPA: 2 students (1.27%) • 1.1-2.0 GPA: 4 students (2.53%) • 2.1-3.0 GPA: 53 students (33.54%) • 3.1 to 4.0 GPA: 97 students (61.39%) • 4.1 to 5.0 GPA: 2 students (1.27%) • When calculating GPA, majority of the students fall between having a 3.1 to 4.0.
