Through reading you’ll be able to
learn the:
▪ Grammatical Structures- are the building blocks of
language.
▪ Correct pronunciation
Physiology- the organic processes and
phenomena of an organism or any of its
parts or of a particular bodily process.

E.g. eyes and mouth/tongue
Inter- Fixation
• Eyes moving from stopping point to
other
Return Sweeps
• Eyes swinging back from the end line to the beginning of the next line
Saccades
• Short quick hop and jump movements done especially by literate people
to move ahead on the line of print.
Regressions
• Backward right to left movement in case there is a need to double check what
is being read
