Why MAT Exam?
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test
being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools
(B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and
allied programmes. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved
MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School – national
or international - can consider MAT Score as an admission
input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. The
largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT will continue to be
your passport to over 600 B-Schools across India.
About Mat Exam
The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance
Test conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing
Service (AIMATS), for admission to MBA and equivalent
programmes of the various participating institutes. AIMA MAT
is usually conducted 4 times a year: generally on the first
Sunday of February, May, September and December. The list
of institutes that use the AIMA-MAT results varies from test to
test.
Eligibility
The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline. Candidates
appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree and are
awaiting results can also apply.

Exam Format
MAT is a paper-based as well as computer-based test. A candidate can take any
one of the two testing formats. While the paper-based test is conducted only one
day, the computer-based test is conducted in the week following it over a window
of approximately a week.

How to Apply?
Candidates appearing for MAT September 2015 can choose any one of the following
modes to apply:

1. Obtain Form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs 1200/- (One
thousand two hundred only) from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank,
listed Study Centres of AIMA OR from AIMA, New Delhi. Or

2. Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred
only) in favour of "All India Management Association" payable at Delhi from any
Bank. Detailed procedure is given on the website link. Or

3. Register online at website with Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) payment.

Things to remember for candidates
For candidates who complete the Online Registration by
– Uploading digital image of photograph,
– Uploading digital image of signature, and
– Online payment
Last Date for Online Registration:27 January 2017 (Friday)
For candidates who affix the photograph and sign the printout of
Registration Form and For candidates who make the payment through
Demand Draft (DD) or Online Payment Last Date for Online
Filling-up/ Purchase of Form:24 January 2017 (Tuesday) And
Last Date for Submission of duly completed Printout of
Registration Form at AIMA, New Delhi:27 January 2017 (Friday)
Admit Card
All provisionally registered candidates both for Paper Based and Computer Based
Test can download their Admit Card from AIMA website

•Specific Admit Card will be generated both for the candidates opting for the Paper
Based Test and for the Computer Based Test.
•Specific Admit Card is generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper Based
Test and for the Computer Based Test.
•Admit Card contains Candidate's Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and
Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to
him/her in the case of Computer Based Test.
•Candidates who have opted for Computer Based Test can choose the date and time slot
of their choice, subject to availability. Date and time slot will be automatically
allotted by the system to those candidates who do not select their slot upto 4 days
before the Computer Based Test. No request for change of date and time slot will be
entertained.
•No separate Admit Card will be issued or dispatched.For detailed application process,

Mode of Test - (How to take the test)
Candidate can choose any one of the two options to take the test:

Paper Based Test - 05 February 2017 (Sunday) Test Timings - 10.00am-12.30pm

or

Computer Based Test - 11 February 2017 (Saturday)onwards**


**If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is limited and can
be accommodated in a single day; the test will be completed on 11 February 2017
itself.
Test Timings - In different Time slots at specific test venues; subject to number of
candidates registering for Computer Based Test.
