 Structural Glazing is a system of bonding glass to a
building’s structural framing members utilizing a high
strength, high performance silicone sealant
specifically designed and tested for structural glazing.
Structural glazing is extremely popular now days
due to its stylish look.
In structural glazing applications, dynamic wind
loads are transferred from the glass, by the structural
silicone sealant, to the perimeter structural support.
Increases the thermal efficiency of buildings,
because the exterior exposure of metal framing is
either reduced or eliminated.
Reduces the potential for thermal breakage of glass.
It is used to create all glass or curtain wall facades.

Semi unitized Glazing

 In this system the vertical mullions and horizontal
transoms are installed on MS/SS/Aluminium
brackets which are anchored to the columns/slabs.
 Cut to size glass is structurally glazed to the

Aluminium sub frame by structural sealant.

 The sub frame with the glass is installed on the

Grid work.
 In the above system 50% of the work is done at
site.

 Curtain walling by design is positioned

externally from the primary building structure
and has the advantages of relying less on
building structural tolerances for installation.
 The term "curtain walling" is related to the word
"curtain" in which the product appears to hang
on the building.
 Spider Glazing

 Spider Glazing is a major concept for façade

glazing and elevation glazing using spider glass
hardware.
 Tempered or heat soaked glass can be used in
spider glazing systems so as to have the
performance of a safety glass facade.
 The glass thickness that is used is usually 12mm
thick.
 The spider glazing is designed to resist wind
pressure. The spider glazing is designed to resist
wind pressure.
 It can be fixed with either 2 way spiders or 4
way SS spiders fitting options.
 Allows full penetration of natural light into the
interiors, prevent the absorption of UV light.
 Cladding (ACP/WPC)

 Decorative cladding is an effective and stylish

substitute for ceramic tiles, timber planking and
wallpapers.
 Wall cladding provides an excellent medium for
protection to structure against winds, rain and
solar radiation.
 Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP)

 Aluminium composite panel (ACP) is a type of

flat panel that consists of two
thin aluminium sheets bonded to a non-
aluminium core. ACPs are frequently used for
external cladding or facades of buildings,
insulation, and signage.
 This process helps in making the building to
give an excellent look
 Versatile and trendy, these composite panels are
used in exterior cladding for different buildings
like malls, multiplexes, display boards, balcony
and other places.
 Eurobond, AluDecor, Alstone, AlcoBond,
Alutech, Durabuild and many more brands are
available at reasonable rate.
 Canopy ( Glass / ACP / Spider )

 A canopy is an overhead roof or else a structure

over which a fabric or metal or as in here with
glass covering is attached, able to provide shade
or shelter.
 Architectural canopies include projections
giving protection from the weather, or merely
decoration.
 canopies are supported by the building to which
they are attached. Glass canopies can meet
various design needs.
 Modern glass canopies are long-lasting,
strong and flame-retardant. Modern frame
materials offer high strength-to-weight
ratios and corrosion resistance.

 Skylights are light

building envelope openings) forming all, or a
portion of, the roof of a building's space
for daylighting purposes.

temperature more stable, cutting down the
number of times your heating/cooling system
has to switch on and off.

surrounded by putty called glazing compound,”
which holds the glass in place and seals out the
weather.
 Aluminium Louvres ( Fixed / Adjustable)

out rain and direct sunshine.
