• Gannet is a large seabird with mainly white
plumage, which catches fish by plunging into
the water.
 Gannet (E – Cell)
• Gannet (E-Cell) first it was named as
“INNOVATORS” in the year 2008 by the batch of
2007 – 09.
• Lateron in the year 2010 the name changed as
“GANNET”
• The main collaboration of this E-Cell is
NEN(National Entrepreneurship Network)

• NEN is the initiative of “Wadwani Foundation”
• The National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN)

– Skills and supports student entrepreneurs,

– SMEs for creating high-value jobs in India,
 NEN Entrepreneurship Support Programs

• The Programs are delivered through city-based

entrepreneurial ecosystems consisting of expert
resources (investors, mentors, incubators,
educators & coaches), and focused on key areas
that positively impact startups and SMEs.
– Learning for entrepreneur support – self-paced
learning from practitioners on practical aspects of
starting and growing a business
– Mentor WISE platform – access to mentors based on
specific needs of the entrepreneur
– Fund WISE platform – access to investors based on
readiness of the company
