Jorissen Test (NOT PERFORMED)
Procedure:
● Dissolve a small amount of salicylic acid in 10 mL of water by
heating.
Procedure:
In a small portion a salicylic acid in a test
tube containing a few drops of methyl
alcohol and concentrated sulfuric acid,
warm in a boiling water bath.
