ACTIVITY CODES

In Primavera, Activity codes refer to as Global

and Project Data. i.e. it can be used either for
Global Purpose and also for project Purpose.
Activity Codes enables you to classify and
Categorize activities according to your
organizational and Project needs

You can use activity codes to view and roll up

activities in the activity table; build reports in the
report wizard or report editor; organize a layout by
grouping activities in to specific categories; and
select and summarize activities. Examples of
activity codes include Phase, Area, Site and
Division
Activity codes can be defined in three levels:

Global Level:

1. Available to all activities in the database.

2. Creates an unlimited number of global level
activity codes.
3. Organize activities with in a project or across the
project structure.
EPS-Level

1. Available to all activities with in the EPS node

and its children
2. Create an unlimited number of EPS-Level
activity codes
3. Organize activities with in a project or across
the portion of the EPS
Project Level-

1. Available to activities only in the project in which

the code is created

2. Create up to 500 activity codes per project

3. Filter and organize activities based on unique,
project-specific requirement
Each Activity Code (global, EPS and Project) may contain an unlimited number of activity
codes values, which can be organized in a hierarchy

Types can be assigned to Number

Global Activities in all projects Unlimited

Level

EPS- Activities with in EPS in Unlimited

Level which code was created
and EPS children

Project Activities in Project in 500

Level which code was created
