PRACTICE BEHAVIOR 7.1

 7.1 Collect and organize data and apply critical thinking to interpret information from clients and constituencies.
 Activity/Task: Gather information from clients and interpret in court report as a nonjudgement objective report.
 Attached is a court report display recommendations due to information obtained. Court report is to be objective.
PRACTICE BEHAVIOR 7.2

 7.2 Apply knowledge of human behavior and the social environment, person-in-environment, and other
multidisciplinary theoretical frameworks in interventions with clients and constituencies.
 Activity/Task: Observe growth of clients with self from the beginning of relationship.
 After conducting surveys with two clients I was able to note the confidence and trust they had in me. After I had broke the
news to them that I will be leaving on maternity leave soon, both children gave me a hug and reached for their cell phones
so they can call or text me. At the beginning both clients kept to themselves. During my last visit they were able to share
private things with me.
PRACTICE BEHAVIOR 7.3

 7.3 Develop mutually agreed-on intervention goals and objectives based on the critical assessment of strengths,
needs, and challenges within clients and constituencies;
 Activity/Task: Always double check with clients on case plan agreement and make sure they find goals are fair.
Discuss in journaling and supervisions any changes with client as well as status of goal achievement.
 My case presentation allowed me to find discuss future goals with my client as their cases are being closed. When talking to
my clients parents, I always double check on their case plan agreement and make sure they still find it feasible and attainable.
Doing so allows me to find resources and gaps.
PRACTICE BEHAVIOR 7.4

 7.4 Select appropriate intervention strategies based on the assessment, research knowledge, and values and
preferences of clients and constituencies
 Activity/Task: Work with community to evaluate the goals and needs of each family and discuss involvement for
support of client throughout the process by attending family meetings.
 I have attended several PPAT meetings where the social worker, the department staff, school staff, police department, GAL,
any family, foster parents and anyone else involved is invited to attend. In those meetings we look at the progress of the
case and allow everyone to discuss the goals and needs of the family to reach their custody goal. The inter-professional
collaborative is vital as it allows for new and different resources to be discovered and great a strong united support system
for the families.
