(RM2000) because there was no promotional activity conducted by
Ken Burger in February.

In April, Ken Burger had the highest sales (RM3000). Ken Burger had
the highest sales (RM3000) because due to ‘gift voucher.

‘Gift voucher’ conducted by Ken Burger in April.
Analysis + Synthesis
 Ken Burger (RM2500) had the highest sales in January
compared to Mario Pizza (RM1000) and Ray’s Fish &
Chips (RM400). This was because only Ken Burger had
a promotion in January, ‘Free Drink’.

 Ken Burger’s sales decreased from January (RM2500)


to February (RM2000). This was because of no
promotional activity conducted by Ken Burger in
February.

 Ken Burger had the highest sales in April (RM3000)


This was due to the ‘Gift Voucher’ promotional activity
conducted by Ken Burger in April.
Analysis + Synthesis

 The sales of Mario Pizza increased from January


(RM1000) to February (RM1500). This was probably due
to the ‘50% discount on the next item’ promotion
conducted by Mario Pizza in February.

 Mario Pizza recorded equal sales in February and March


(RM1500 respectively). This was because Mario Pizza
did not have any promotional activity in both months.

 The sales of Mario Pizza decreased from March


(RM1500) to April (RM1000). This was because Mario
Pizza did not offer any promotional activity in April.
Analysis + Synthesis

 Ray’s Fish & Chips had the lowest sales in January


(RM300). This was because of no promotional
activity conducted by Ray’s Fish & Chips in January.

 Sales of Ray’s Fish & Chips increased from February


(RM300) to March (RM400). This was because of the
‘Free Drink’ promotional activity in March.
Conclusion

 In conclusion, the sales of three fast food


outlets in the first quarter of 2012 is
influenced by the promotional activities in
the same period.
