 INTRODUCTION
The Segamat is a town located in the Segamat District, Johor.
Segamat District is a located in the north of the state of Johor.
Strategically situated between Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru,
Segamat is a fast-growing agricultural oil palm and rubber district, famous
for its delicious durians, hence its recent slogan to attract tourists: Selamat
Datang ke Segamat - Tanah Raja Buah-buahan : Welcome to Segamat -
The Land of the King of Fruits).
Segamat is a city
found in Johor,
Malaysia. It is located
2.51 latitude and
102.82 longitude and
it is situated at
elevation 35 meters
above sea level.
Segamat has a
population of 69,816
making it the 9th
biggest city in Johor.

Attraction In Segamat
Dataran Segamat: at Jalan Buloh Kasap (Segamat old town), formerly
known as Padang Besar Segamat.. It also houses the clock tower
and a durian replica that makes Dataran Segamat the landmark of
Segamat The celebration of Johor state-level Malaysia's national day
is held here if Segamat is selected to host the event that year.

Taman Bunga Batu Hampar or also known as “Rock Garden” is the

main recreational park in Segamat that draw attention not only local
but also visitor from another town. Feast your eyes with green
scenery and enjoy peaceful walk around the garden that magically
calmed troubled heart. The official residence for the Segamat District
Officer is situated here, as well as Istana Hinggap, Johor’s royal
retreat that used to be Sultan Ibrahim’s favourite resting palace during
his hunting trip
Hutan Lipur Air Terjun Sungai Bantang, Bekok
Bantang waterfall, Bekok to satisfy your inner pleasure. The Bantang
waterfall’s scenery is one of the view to die for. Located at Bekok ,
Segamat.
Hutan Lipur Taka Melor
The amenity forest called been a sight to behold a perfect
spot for a visitor to connect with nature. You will probably
hear a loud chirping noises day and night made by a birds or
a crickets, but hey, that is the beauty of it all.

Makam Bendahara Tepok

The last treasurer of the Melaka Malay Sultanate is located
in Kampung Lubuk Batu, about 2 kilometers from Segamat
City Center by federal roads.
