 Tools and materials :
1. Copper clad board
2. Permanent marker
3. Ferric chloride
4. Sandpaper
5. Iron
6. Acetone
STEP 1 Design Your Schematics and Print Them

STEP 2 Prepare Your Copper Clad
Board

Firstly, cut a piece of board with the size of

the circuit plus about 3mm per side.
Then scratch the surface with some sandpaper.
STEP 3 Toner Transfer (Transfer of Toner Onto the
Board)

1. Heat The iron to its Maximum Setting.

2. Cut The Design And Place It Upside-Down On The Board
And Make Sure That It Is Completely on the Board.
3. Slowly Move And Press the Iron On The Board with
Pressure For 10-15 Minutes.
STEP 4 Washing the Board
and Completely Removing the
Paper

After Heating, Wash The

Board With Water Till
the
Paper Completely
Gets Removed, Now
Only Black Lines Are
Left on the Board.
 1. The etching is the most

Method 2. First, fill the container with the
etching solution (Ferric chloride).
3. Place the circuit floating in the
solution with the copper facing
down.
4. Check the circuit each minute
to see how it goes.
5. When the last copper trace
disappears, dry the circuit to stop
the acid action.
STEP 6 Cleaning the Board

First, remove the toner with

acetone. Then you can polish the
copper to give it better
appearance.
STEP 7 Drilling The Holes

Drill the holes for all the

components.
 STEP 8 Tin all the parts where a
Solder Your Components and Its Ready
component is going to be
soldered. Then solder all the
components in place and clean
the remaining flux or resin.
