TRANSFER GOAL: Students on their own and in the long
run will be able to compose and deliver an informative
speech to address the need of being cooperative and
responsible in today’s society.
PERFORMANCE TASK: Youth Mag, a magazine, has launched its annual Local
World Youth Day with the theme “Youth: Responsible and Cooperative Citizens
in Today’s Society” wherein it provides valuable articles and information that
would enlighten the youth to be more aware of the societal issues. As Youth
Influencers of the said magazine, you are tasked to compose and deliver a
speech to inform the youth about their responsibilities in today’s modern
world. Your speech will be graded based on the following: Conventions,
Organization, and Delivery.

PERFORMANCE STANDARD
The learner transfers learning by: explaining the need to be
cooperative and responsible in today’s global village; using
appropriate strategies to comprehend extended text types;
using lexical and contextual clues to understand unfamiliar
words and expressions; using imperatives, prepositions,
and appropriate and polite oral language, stance and
behavior in various information-sharing formats.
