COMPONENTS IN HUANCAYO”
PROBLEM TO SOLVE
Evolution of the production of waste electrical and electronic equipment per capita in the
world from 2010 to 2018 (in kilograms per person)
If I could build a component separation plant, I would reuse the mineral components of the
electronic devices. The gold that is used for printed circuit boards where the microchips are attached
in high-end smartphones to improve their conductivity. Tungsten is the least used, besides the cobalt
also participates in the batteries and next to the lithium they conform 4% of the composition of the
mobiles. Copper being the most used since it has 15% of the total composition.
If I had a company I wouldn’t have manufactured the products with a
programmed obsolescence, so customers wouldn’t be forced to buy a new
product. The obsolescence is very problematic, because it causes global
problems. Also addition manufacturers invest just so that the products survive
three years.

If we don’t abuse our electronic devices and technology, there will be life
on earth for much longer time and we will have the best place to live.
FIRST CONDITIONAL-COMPARATIVE
If we reuse electronic waste, we will help with the conservation of the environment and
generate income, therefore this can be a profitable business and thanks to technology we
will have machines that manufacture new products from those that already exist. and we
will be a company as recognized as cicloplast.
Thanks to the big machines that destroy the electronic waste,
we aren’t surrounded by waste, but if the smartest engineers
wouldn’t invent the destructive machines, we would have to
deal with this.
If the technology had not advanced, people wouldn’t have bought more
electronic devices, therefore there wouldn’t be much electronic waste. But
In this issue, USA, Japan and China are more developed countries than
Perú.
If you throw the battery of a mobile
phone into the river, you
contaminate up to 600,000 liters of
water. since the batteries contain
toxic substances like as cobalt,
phosphorus, lithium and others. these
substances are the most polluting to
the environment and affect health.
If you recycle the components of 40 mobile phones and
extract the gold in the circuits, You will have approximately
1 to 2 grams of gold. . Then, the remains of the device pass
through the microphone, which is able to recover
approximately 80% of the precious metal.
To extract gold, the mobiles must be crushed to the state of
dust, then the remains of the device pass through mycelium
which is a part of the fungi that is underground and is able
to recover up to 80% of the gold. This method is more
efficient and more respectful with the environment than
other methods because it does not contain toxic
chemicals.
If we wanted to reuse electronic or
electrical components, We would know
which components can be recycled and
classified separately, components such as
metals, integrated circuits or plates and
polycarbonates or plastics.
Because the electronics components of a fridge
are more dangerous than the components of a
computer, since the refrigerators contain
insulating foams whose chemical composition is
very harmful to the environment.
If I had enough money, I would have built
electronic garbage dumps. but since I do not
have it, it is recommended to start with the
creative and innovative reuse of some
components.
Since reusing this electronic waste is the
most economical to do an electronic waste
treatment plant that costs approximately
15,000 million soles.
