Our Government:

The Agenda
September 15, 2018
Welcome to the United States of America
General Concerns
• Citizens of our nation are concerned about many things that are currently
happening in our government.
• Two main issues that our nation faces with the government include national
security, and healthcare.
• Many upheavals and internal threats make it impossible for American citizens
to trust in those who are in office.
• Americans have no idea what is really going to happen in the near future.
Who Can American’s Trust?
National Concerns
• Privacy of citizens—we are being monitored daily through our television,
computer, automobile and cellphone. Do we have the right to privacy or not?
• Our government has been spying on us, and we know it, but what can we
do?
• Protection—those who should protect and serve us are now killing us at
alarming rates. Police brutality is at an all time high!
• Our food and water is poisoned purposely to keep Americans sick!
Healthcare
• Cost of Care – the prices for healthcare in the United States is hardly
affordable for citizens.
• Many individuals do not have proper health insurance, and need to have
accessibility to adequate healthcare for issues such as HIV/AIDS, Cancer,
High Blood Pressure, and Diabetes.
• Medicare and SSI Benefits are also a concern because many individuals are
denied benefits or do not qualify for Medicare/Medicaid.
Corrupt Officials
• Using Twitter™, President Donald Trump, demonstrates daily the roller
coaster ride this country is on.
• President Trump has given his personal discredit and distrust of those who
have been appointed by our very government.
• President Trump also tells us to believe in our government.
Resigned or Fired
United States Officials

Michael T. Flynn—former National Security Advisor– Flynn discussed U.S. sanctions with Kislyak on
Trump’s behalf during the presidential transition and said members of the president’s inner circle were
aware of, and in some cases directing, his efforts.
Tom Bossert, Homeland Security Advisor

Bossert and former national security adviser H.R.

McMaster feuded bitterly throughout their tenure in the
White House in meetings that on occasion devolved
into screaming, according to people familiar with their
relationship who spoke on the condition of anonymity
to discuss the situation.
Andrew McCabe- FBI Deputy Director

• McCabe kept memos stating that Deputy

Attorney General Rod Rosenstein talked
about secretly recording President
Donald Trump and discussed using the
25th Amendment to remove him from
office.
President Donald Trump

This is our President who has made promises that he has not kept. He
has officials that he has not kept. There have been corrupt activities
going on in the White House, and we do not know how this story is
going to end. There have been too many instances of distrust that it is
embarrassing to our very government.
Solutions for America’s Future
• Who knows what will happen next in our government.
• A solution would be to put people in office who are appointed by the people
and who will work for the people of the United States of America.
• Uphold the Constitution as it was created to be upheld—so citizens will be
protected from corruption.
• The goal will be to continue moving forward as a successful country to live
and work in by learning from our mistakes.
