Yareli Mendoza Reflection I observed in Aikin Elementary School,
The grade I observed was kindergarten in Mrs.
Chapmans class
I learned so much in that class for starters every
child is different and have different needs and different backgrounds and I know see that we as teachers have big impacts on children, we are mother/ father figures to them. Interact
• I saw how Mrs. Chapman would interact to her students,
she would care for them as her own and when one child would have a fit of temper fit, she would care but because it would interrupt her class discussion, she would send them to sit in a table to think about why they are in that position and what they’ve could have done better. As well I saw a positive impact to them, as one child would read, and you could tell they knew the answer but were having trouble she would give them positive comments and feedback to them. As I saw in my previous observation, I can see that technology is here to stay and I'm surprised how little they are and how learning impact on kids now, they are so young and they are able to use tablets as a source of learning device, it’s an educational course.
OBSERVATION STUDENTS
