RA 1425 • Republic Act No. 1425, otherwise known as the Rizal Law, was promulgated on June 12, 1956 by Senator Claro. M. Recto. It requires the curricula of private and public schools, colleges and university courses to include the life, works and writings of our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, particularly his novels, Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo.
