Money is much more apt to play the role of de-
motivator than motivator, because it is difficult to stay
motivate if you don’t think your pay is fair. But, if you
think your pay is fair, then you stop thinking about it
and its power to motivate fades. Leaders need to
establish fair pay, but they shouldn’t rely on fair pay to
motivate.

HOW WOULD THEY APPLY THIS?

ensuring Hygiene Motivation factor
Factors are met

When you're seeking to motivate people, firstly get rid of the

things that are annoying them about the company and the
workplace.
Make sure they're treated fairly, and with respect.
Once you've done this, look for ways in which you can help
people grow within their jobs,
give them opportunities for achievement, and praise that
achievement wherever you find it.
