DBMS Assignment (20 marks)

• Total no. of students in this section = 52.

• Form 26 groups according to roll number sequence, with two
students in each group.
• Each group must select a unique problem for which a database has
to be developed.
• All 26 groups must have 26 distinct problems.
• Use the three tier architecture of DBMS.
• There is not restriction on the programming language that has to be
used for developing user interface and business logic.
• The database has to be developed using Oracle.
• Mr. Animesh will ensure the above points and send the list of
assignment to me.
• Hard Copy of the Assignment should contain
• 1. Detailed and unambiguous problem statement.
• 2. Conceptual Design/Schema using ER diagram.
• 3. Logical Design/Schema using relational data model.
• 4. Normalization of logical design.
• 5. Implementation of database using Oracle.
• 6. Application development for various users of the database.
• 7. Demonstration.
