THREE AXIS PNEUMATIC MODERN

TRAILER
INTRODUCTION
• Pneumatic systems use pressurized gas, mostly air, to transmit motion and
power. In fact, most concepts of hydraulic systems apply to the pneumatic
systems including the Pascal’s law

• Since a confined air behaves same as a confined fluid with respect to


pressure, the force can be calculated using the pressure and area on which
it is acting (i.e., F=p*A).

• Also, many components used in pneumatics, such as control valves,


filters, actuators, motors, and so on
INTRODUCTION
• But still this technology is insufficient for fulfilling our requirement for
complete unload. This technology concerns only on solving the problem of
unloading on directional sides of trailer. One of the problems is cited with
dumper in the time & energy for operating the huge dumper in the proper
direction to dump the material carrying in it hence the need of project
work riser was is about Three Axis Modern Pneumatic Trailer which dump
the material in any direction with moving trolley in any direction. With rise
of chances in technology, it is become essential to find a viable alternative
to 3 way trailer system.
LITERATURE REVIEW
• Ganesh shinde, the author says three way modern trailers has neutralize
the dumping problem in unloading. He says that several automobile
garage has the fact, some difficult methods in unloading the material in
normal traders.

• Amboji Sudhakar R, the author said that trailers in tippers are used to
transport variety of products including gravel, potatoes, sand, grain,
compost and heavy rocks.He notice the term that tipper trailers can
unload in one side which is x axis only by using hydraulic jack or conveyor
mechanism.
LITERATURE REVIEW
• The most primitive truck version mounted dump body relied by the
philosophy of dumping gravity. The time need to lock in place to activate
the dump pivoted center had been off. After that releasing the lock the
dump rear will be activating.

• The loaded condition soud be provided activate the dump operation in


center of gravity.

• In 1904 the first Mann gravity dump was designed and build in England.
The hydraulic dump body was developed by Alley & Mclellan of Glasgow in
1907. It was driven by means of steam power.

• Modern dumpers have payloads of up to 10 tones (11 short tons; 9.8 long
tons) and usually steer by Particulating at the middle of the chassis (pivot
steering). They have multicylinder diesel engines, some turbocharged, electric
start and hydraulics for tipping and steering and are more expensive to make
and operate. An A-frame known as a RollOver Protection frame may be fitted
over the seat to protect the driver if the dumper rolls over. Some dumpers
have Falling Object Protection as well. Lifting skips are available for discharging
above ground level. In the 1990’s dumpers with swivel skips, which could be
rotated to tip sideways, became popular, especially for working in narrow sites
such as road works. Dumpers are the most common cause of accidents
involving construction plant.
OBJECTIVE
• Our aim in this project is to modify and fabricate the modern three axis trailer
for industrial application. To give additional two directional motions to the
trailer. To develop mechanism for reducing time of loading and unloading. To
provide easier way dumping.

• World progressing at faster rate which demands efficient working equipment's


such as user friendly machinery and hence the three way dumper may be used
more than the two way or one way. The work can be modified further more on
following basis:-Electronic sensors can be used to make the operations easy.
Oil pump can be used instead of Pneumatic cylinder. Capacity can be
increased. Four wheel steering can be adopted for more movement ability.

Mordent Days

DESCRIPTION
• The pneumatic bearing press consists of the following
components to fulfil the requirements of complete
operation of the machine
– Pneumatic cylinder
– Hand operated valve
– Flow control value
– Connectors and
– Hoses
CYLINDER

• The cylinder is a double acting cylinder one, which


means that the air pressure operates alternatively (forward
and backward).

CYLINDER TECHNICAL DATA:

Barrel: It is made of cold drawn aluminimum honed to 25mm.


Piston Rod: M.S. hard Chrome plated
End Covers: Cast iron graded fine grained from 25mm to 300mm

DIRECTIONAL CONTROL VALVE

• To control the to and fro motion of cylinder, the fluid


energy has to be regulated, controlled and reversed
with a predetermined sequence in a pneumatic
system.

The main functions of the valves are,


• Start and stop the fluid energy
• Control the direction of flow of compressed air
• Control the flow rate of the fluid
• Control the pressure rating of the fluid
FLOW CONTROL VALVE:

• This valve is used to speed up the piston movement


and also it acts as an one – way restriction valve
CONNECTORS:

• In our pneumatic system there are two types of


connectors used; one is the hose connector and the
other is the reducer.
• Hose connectors normally comprise an adapter
(connector) hose nipple and cap nut. These type of
connectors are made up of brass or Aluminium or
hardened steel.
• Reducers are used to provide inter connection
between two pipes
HOSES

• Hoses used in this pneumatic system are made up of


polyrethane. These hoses can with stand at a
maximums pressure level of 10 kg/cm2.

CONCLUSION

• Our survey in the regard in several automobile


garages, revealed the facts that mostly some difficult
methods were adopted in unloading the materials
from the trailer and hence a suitable arrangement has
been designed. Such that the vehicles can be
unloaded from the trailer in three axes without
application of any impact force.
