ABOUT THE COMPANY
• Garware-Wall Ropes Ltd. (GWRL) is one of India's leading players in the
technical textiles sector

• Established in 1976, the company today is a multi-divisional, multi-


geographical technical textile company.

• The company manufactures and provides world class solutions in high


performance polymer ropes, fishing nets, sports nets, safety nets,
aquaculture cages, coated fabrics, agricultural netting and geosynthetics.

• GWRL owns two manufacturing facilities, all located in Maharashtra.

• The company has its rope manufacturing facility in Pune, which conforms
to ISO 9000 standards. It boasts state–of–the–art machinery with a
capacity of 20,000 tonnes per annum.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
• The objective is to observe here the recruitment process that how
the recruiter recruit the vacancies ,right person at the right place,
make policies , recruitment joining formalities ,offer letter
,general administration, resource allocation, salaries, interview
process etc.

• The main objective is to prepare a roadmap based on the


observation of the recruitment process and prepare a process
document for this functional area of HR.

• This in turn would help the organisation in better accountability


process flow and orientation; reduce the lack of clarity and
reference to the processes.
OBEJECTIVE OF THE REPORT
• To understand the internal Recruitment process in organisation.

• To identify areas where there can be scope for improvement.

• To give suitable recommendation to streamline the hiring process.

• To develop practical knowledge with theoretical aspects.

• To know about importance of recruitment and selection.

• To find out better process of recruitment.

• To know about the role of recruiter.


LEARNINGS
• Observing the working environment: First few weeks I observed the
processes followed in the organisation, work climate, organisational culture
and other processes.

• Interacting with HR Head: The following weeks, through intermitted


informal chats with the BDM/HR Head , I was able to get the overview of
HR practices, candidate sources method, and the company policies.

• Sourcing And Screening: I was given lot client requirement job


description to source the perfect resume that fits in for the role. Through
this I was able to learn and interact with candidates and judge there
knowledge on call.

 Traditional one on one job interview

• Doing the joining formalities for new employees: This


helped me in knowing the post recruitment process and the
documents needed while a new joiner join the organisation. It also
gave an overview of induction process.

infrastructure industry worldwide.

• Established in 1976, the company today is a multi-divisional, multi-


geographical technical textile company.

• The company manufactures and provides world class solutions in high


performance polymer products.

• During my Internship, I had learned many things through this company and
mostly from the employees who are working here. I got the knowledge about
how to recruit candidate for the right person at right post. Experience about
how to make call and talk to applicants, conduct interviews etc.

• Through this I improve my communication skills, cope up with my hesitation or


fear while talking to others.
MY CONTRIBUTION
As my project was ‘Analysis On Recruitment And Selection Process’,
my work was mainly divided into three parts-
1. Sourcing (through portal)
2. Recruitment
3. Preparation of Agreement, Appointment letter, CTC etc.
4. Made policy on noticing period
5. Worked on performance appraisal system

This internship provided me a great platform to learn, to enhance my


skills to perform better. I got a good support from my company where
I worked in. As an HR, I learnt technical aspects of work as well as
behavioral aspects. This will definitely help me in the future for my
growth.
