7 C’s Can Be Applied for both

 Oral

Completeness
 It should convey all the facts required
by the audience.
 The message must bear all the
necessary information to bring the
response you desire
 It should answer all questions asked
 Give something extra, when desirable
Completeness
 One of the most famous terms use under
this title is the “5’w’s”.
 5’w’s includes
 Who
 What
 When
 Where
 Why
Completeness
 Provide all necessary
information
 Accurate understanding.
 W questions are useful.
 Answer all Questions asked
 Replying inquiry.
 List the needed details.
Benefits of Completeness
 Complete messages are more likely to
produce desired results.
 They can do a better job for building
goodwill.
 Complete messages always give
additional information wherever required.
 It leaves no questions in the minds of
receiver.
Conciseness
 Conciseness means communicating
what you want to convey in least possible
words.
 The message only contains the
information, only relating to the topic and
don’t have irrelevant information
 Conciseness is a necessity for effective
communication.
 Wipe out wordy expression
 Add only relevant information
 Avoid unnecessary repetition
