 The tea classification Fteh has a huge variety

of product lines, however Goteh has limited


product lines and thus the supply chain of
Fteh is complicated.
 In case of Goteh, the return of the used
bottles is considered as important part of
supply chain, however in case of Fteh it is
not necessary. This may complicate the
supply chain of Goteh.
 The fluctuation of the demand cycle affect
the promotional campaigns of Fteh.
A. The promotional programs can affect the
demand cycle of the products
B. The expectation of increase in the prices
may head towards the forward buying
process
C. The happening of different festivals in the
society may also tend to affect the demand
cycle temporarily.
 As a supply chain manager, it would be
recommended;
1. to minimize the product range
2. The less product lines will leads towards
the saving of time resources
3. It supply chain should be backward
integrated, it will smooth down the flow of
information
4. The management should work on the
demand forecast patterns.
 The information distortion can occur due to
number of supply chain participants.
 The lean manufacturing supply chain is
effective to reduce the possible distortion
factors.
 In addition, any occasional fluctuation can
also cause distortion in the supply chain of
the company.
 In the particular case, the bullwhip effect is
the reason of supply chain distortion.
 The bull whip effect refers towards eth
sudden fluctuation.
 The vertical integration and outsourcing are two
different decisions which entirely depend upon
the capabilities of business.
 The vertical integration is good because of its
benefit of constant demand and supply cycle.
 The benefit of outsourcing is the access of best
possible capabilities for doing operations
 The disadvantage of vertical integration is its
long-run effect, as it becomes non-competitive
after sometime.
 The disadvantage of outsourcing is the usage of
capital to retain the competition.
