WHAT IS BLUE EYES TECHNOLOGY ?
 Aims at creating computational machines that have perceptual and
sensory ability.
 The basic idea behind this technology is to give the computer the
human power.
 Due to this the machine can understand what a user wants, where
he is looking at and even realize his physical or emotional states.
 Use camera and microphone to identify user actions and emotions.
WHAT IS BLUE EYE ?
Blue :- In The Term Stands For Bluetooth, Which Enables Reliable
Wireless Communication.

 Eyes : Because The Eye Movement Enables Us To Obtain A Lot Of

Interesting And Important Information.
 Bluetooth device + Eyes Tracking Device
WHY DO WE NEED BLUE EYES?
 To Avoid And Reduce Human Limitation Such As:
Tiredness
Oversight
Mental illness, Etc…
 Monitoring of conscious brain involvement (automation, long driving)
To built a machine that can understand your emotions
Verify your identity, feels your presence and interact with you.
HOW CAN WE MAKE COMPUTER SEE
AND FEEL ?
Blue eyes uses sensing technology to
identify a user’s actions and to extract
key information.
Information is then analyzed to
determine the user’s physical, emotional,
or informational state.
TECHNOLOGIES USED IN BLUE EYE
TECHNOLOGY :-
Emotion Mouse
Manual And Gaze Input Cascaded (MAGIC)
Artificial Intelligent Speech Recognition
 Simple User Interest Tracker (SUITOR)
 The eye movement Sensor
EMOTION MOUSE
Emotion mouse sense the mood by analyzing
pressure , temperature and heart beat of the
user.
Hardware: - mouse
Heart rate
Temperature : thermocouple
Galvanic skin response (GSR): digital
multimeter
General somatic activity (GSA): movement of
computer mouse
TOUCH RECOGNITION
Analyzing these parameters six
types of mood can be sensed by
computer.
Anger
fear
sadness
disgust
joy
surprise
SIGNALS OF EMOTIONAL MOUCE
MANUAL AND GAZE INPUT CASCED(MAGIC)
 Webcam is used to quickly determine
the glints and pupils of the user under
variable and realistic lightning conditions.
 Reduce the cursor movement needed
for target selection.
 Click on the target with a regular
manual input device
 Two MAGIC Pointing Techniques
Liberal Conservative
CONTINUE
LIBERAL APPROACH
 To warp the cursor to every new object user looks at
CONSERVATIVE APPROACH
Does not warp the cursor target until the manual input
device has been actuated
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGIENT SPEECH RECOGNITION

 Input words are scanned and matched

against internally stored words.
 User speaks to the computer through
microphone.
 Pattern matching is designed to look for
the best fit because of variations in
loudness, pitch, frequency difference, time
gap etc.
APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGIENT

Pilot give commands to computers by

speaking into microphones
Can be connected to word processors and
instead of writing, simply dictate to them
The Most Common And Use Full Example Of
SPEECH RECOGNITION Is GOOGLE
ASSISTANT
SPEECH RECOGNITION
SR Has Long Been Goal Of AI
 If The Computer Is An Electronic Brain Equivalent To A Human, We Should Be Able To
Communicate With That Brain
 It Would Be Very Convenient To Communicate By Natural Language Means
o S/R Voice Input
o Natural Language Understanding
o Natural Language Generation
o Speech Synthesis Output
 There Are Three Distinct Problems And AI Researchers Have Not Tried To Tackle Them As A
Combined Unit Although
o SR Often Include Part Of The NLU
o The Study Of speech synthesis hassled to greater Understanding Of SR
SIMPLE USER INTEREST TRACKER (SUITOR)

Help by fetching more information at desktop

Notice where the user’s eyes focus on the screen
Fills a scrolling ticker on a computer screen with information related
to user’s task
Ex. If reading headline ,pops up the story in the browser window
THE EYE MOVEMENT SENSOR DESIGNING
A personal area network for linking all
the operators and the supervising system
Two major units
- DAU (data acquisition unit)
- CSU (central system unit )
JAZZ MULTISENSOR
 It’s an EMS to provide the data on
Data Acquisition Unit(DAU)
It supplies raw digital data regarding
eye position, the level of blood
oxygenation acceleration along
horizontal and vertical axes and
ambient light intensity.
 Eye movement can be measured using
direct infrared oculographic
transducers.
SYSTEM OVERVIEW
 Bluetooth
technology provides
means for creating
a Personal Area
Network linking the
operators and the
central system.
DATA ACQUISITION UNIT(DAU)
The DAU consists of the following components
• ATMEL 8952 microcontroller
• BLUE TOOTH MODULE – supports synchronous voice
• Jazz multisensor
• Data transmission
• Central system sound feedback
• ALPHAUNUMERIC LCD display
• LED indicators
• ID CARD interfasace
FEATURES OF DAU
• Lightweight
• Runs on batteries - low power
consumption
• Easy to use
• ID cards for operator authorization
• Voice transmission using hardware PCM
codec(Pulse Code Module)
COMPONENTS OF DAU

ATMEGA 8952 MC BLUETOOTH MODULE

CENTRAL SYSTEM UNIT(CSU)– COMPONENTS

• CONNECTION MANAGER – main task

to perform low-level blue tooth
communication
• DATA ANALYSIS MODULE – performs
the analysis of the raw sensor data
• DATA LOGGER MODULE – provides
support for storing the monitored data.
• VISULAIZATION MODULE – provides
user interface for the supervisors
CSU FEATURES
• Connection management
