• The objective of this lesson is for you to have your first
experience in cooking lasagna by Regina Schrambling.
• Also, in this lesson you will learn how to write a descriptive
paragraph of your experience.

1 cup extra virgin olive oil 2 large whole cloves garlic

¾ pound ground sirloin 16 sheets fresh lasagna noodles, preferably Antica Pasteria
¼ cup freshly grated pecorino Romano
2 eggs
10 sprigs fresh parsley, leaves only, washed and dried

How to write a descriptive paragraph?
Step 1. Choose a topic.

This is the easiest step. The topic of your paragraph is your experience
cooking lasagna.

Step 2. Create a statement.

This is a sentence that is written in the introduction. It is what the


whole paragraph will be about.

It was a very difficult recipe.


This sentence will let the reader know that the writer had a hard time
cooking.

Step 3. Get the senses right!

sensation or feeling that you associate with the topic that you are
writing about.”

On a Word Document, start developing your ideas from the previous


chart.

Sum up all of your ideas in one sentence and close your paragraph!
