INTRODUCTION • Organization Dynamics is defined as the process of continuously strengthening resources and enhancing employee performances.
• Individuals bring a number of differences to work. They
have a variety of personalities, values, and attitudes.
• When they enter into organizations, their stable or
transient characteristics affect how they behave and perform.
• Moreover, companies hire people with the expectation
that they have certain knowledge, skills, abilities, personalities, and values. Activity 1: Coat of Arms Purpose • In this exercise, each group get to define their group or personality and formulate their mission statement. Groups get to design a “coat of arms” which represents their value and mission. You can then use this deign much like a logo to remind themselves of what they want and what they stand for. Objective • Create a “coat of arms” that best represents your mission and what you stand for. What You Need • Small and large sheets of paper, colour pens Timing • Activity: 15 min first design + 10 min presenting and getting feedback + 10 min second design = 35 minutes • Group Feedback: 10 minutes Activity 2: Marshmallow Challenge THE IMPORTANCE OF POSITIVE MINDSET, ISSUES AND CONCERNS • Positive mindset is a mental attitude in which you expect good and favourable results. In other words, positive thinking is the process of creating thoughts that create and transform energy into reality. A positive mind waits for happiness, health and a happy ending in any situation. • The issues are most of us spend a lot of time inside our own mind worrying about the future, replaying sad events in the past, and generally focusing on the parts of life that leave us dissatisfied. While common, negative mindset can prevent a person from enjoying experiences, distract from focusing on what's important, and drain your energy. They can also make him/her feel anxious and depressed. How you apply positive Mindset? • Use Positive Words When Talking • Remove All the Feelings That Are Not Positive • Use Words That Stimulate Strength and Success • Practice Positive Affirmations • Redirect Your Thoughts • Start Thinking You Will Succeed • Analyses What Went Wrong • Think of a Failure as an Opportunity. • Working at Your Imagination/ Visualization.
