The animal
kingdom has 1.3
million million
known species. It
is estimated that
there are a total
of 10-20 million
species, which
are divided into 2
groups:
vertebrates and
Invertebrates are a
group of animals that
have no spine.
Invertebrates are
grouped into several
phyla, namely:
Porifera.
Comes from Latin, porus which means small
hole and ferre which means carrying or
containing
Cnidaria.
Has 2 layers (diploblastic), the body's radial
symmetry which is a gastrovascular cavity
with a hole that is used as the mouth and
anus
Acoela.
Flatworms that are simple nervous systems
and an important intestine, and thus are
placed on the phylum platyhelmintes
Placozoa
It doesn't look like an animal. It consists of a
simple layer of several thousand cell
Ctenophora.
Has 2 layers and its body is radial symmetry
like cnidaria
Platyhelminth
es
Flatworms that have a form of bilateral
symmetry and a central nervous system
that processes information from sensory
nerves
Ectoprocta
lives as a sessile colony and is covered by a
strong outer frame
Rotifers
Microscopic in shape, have a special organ
system, including an digestive tract
Brachiopods
Have unique stems that link them to the
substrate, such as a cilia crown called
lophophore
Acanthocephala
All species are parasites. For example,
those that infect crabs in New Zealand
Nemertea
Like flatworms, they have native
colon. But unlike flatworms, they
have a digestive tract and a closed
circulation system.

14
Cycliophora
Found in the body of cold water lobsters.
It has a shape like a bag

15
Annelids,
triploblastic,
Segmented bodies have a
selomata.
nervous, digestive, reproductive,
and excretory system.

16
Mollusca
triploblastic selomata and bilateral
symmetry. Some species have hard
shells
17
Loricifera
marine animals that live in sediments
from the very small to the microscopic

18
Priapula
some species are in seabed
sediments. The length is between
0.5 mm to 20 cm.

19
Onychophor
a
vaguely segmented organism that
has small eyes, antennae, several
pairs of legs, and mucus glands
Tardigrada
the size is very small and
lives in water with 8 feet
Nematodes
diverse animals that inhabit a
wide range of environments.
More than half are parasites
22
Arthropoda
is an invertebrate animal having an
exoskeleton. The body is segmented, and
is divided into the head (chepa), chest
(thorax) and abdomen (abdomen)
23
Hemichordata
an imperfect dorsal chordate
animal. His body shape is
elongated like a worm.
24
Chordata
is bilaterally symmetrical, has a
characteristic that is notocord,
perforated nerve cord, gill bag, tail
behind the anus 25
Echinoderms
thorny skin animals. most body
shapes are radial symmetry,
especially pentameral radial
symmetry (divided into 5)
