Cube
● Six equal sides.
● Angle between two adjacent is 90 degree.
● Cube is static form.
● It is very stable unless it stands on corner.
Visual Effect of cube
● The vertical square neither invites
nor repulses.visually and physically
impenetrable, uninviting
appearance.
● Because the direction are equally
emphasized , the mass as a whole
has no directional quality and
natural.
● Visual force is given by edges.
Emotional effect of cube:-
● It can be seen as truth, because it looks the same
from any perspective.
Space and mass of Cube
● Space inside cube is
bounded in plane
surface,lines and
corners.
● Corner won’t project
towards the observer
but recede away from
observer.
Cuboid
● Altering the equal sides of the cube, cuboid is
obtained.
● The volume is spread in particular direction
either horizontal or vertical, irrespective of the
surface.
● Each mass has a longer side and shorter
side.
● Surface lines are emphasized then corners.
● Horizontally-Urban street (because of the continuity a one hesitates to
stop unless opening is created)
● Verticality- high rise building (both visual and vertical tension makes it
dominating visual entity)
● The horizontal internal space
stimulates the horizontal
moment which is greater with
increasing horizontality. So
space become transform into
a passage, a corridor and
internal streat.
● Vertical space stimulates
vertical moment when filed
with staircase, lift and ramp.

Form evolution
● Visual effect :-The most fascinating aspect of this tiny house is the lack
of many windows — natural light is delivered by corner skylights on each
of the three boxes. This creates an abundance
of light (and interesting lighting angles) but
also retains maximum privacy for the
inhabitants.
