Will

The Zhi is one’s willpower to live. It is one’s will to power. There are two
will powers: 1 yang, 1 yin.
Zhi has the quality of force, self determination & arduous effort.

Zhi is responsible for the virtue of wisdom. Wisdom is not knowledge. It comes
on its own.
To will the unknown and unknowable.

Yin Zhi: An abiding and persistent force that is only normally noticed after what was willed has
already manifested (‘It was already there / it was always meant to be’).. Trust in the inevitable
destiny. Supreme Will.

Yang Zhi: Conscious will power & arduous effort to make the right decisions in life.

The Zhi represents the willpower to live a life whereupon in that life you have achieved something and
where some sort of motive is present. The Zhi represents the will power to give your life a
purpose.
