■ Plastering above 1 m from FFL should completed.
■ Clean the surface with the wire brush/mechanical grinder & wash
the entire area with the water.
■ Fill the water to the entire area up to sunk top for 24 hours to check
the leakages in the slab.
■ If there is any crack, cut ‘V’ shape groove by the grinder up to 15 to
20 mm wide and deep.
■ Fill the ‘V’ groove with the GP2.
■ Cure the surface for 3 days.
■ Than chemical coat applied.
■ Before apply the coat surface should moisten with water.
 Coverage of coating shall be 5 sq.m/kg per coat.

applying second coat over the first coat
 Than basecoat should be done.
 Maximum thickness of basecoat shall be 25 mm.
 Basecoat is done by using cement mortar in proportion of 1:4.
 Curing for 3 days should be done and checked for leakage.
 If there is no leakage found than handover to plumbing department.
 After plumbing work done brickbat starts.
 Application of brick bat coba shall be started once plumbing lines
test & water ponding test is satisfied.
 The brickbat layer shall then be cured & ponding shall be done for
