Maria Montessori’s Quotes:
New Methodology Introduced
Montessori is a method of education on
self directed activity , hands on learning
and collaborative play. In Montessori
children make creative choices in their
learning , while the classroom and the
highly trained teacher offer age-
appropriate activities to guide the
process.
The Program includes learning in
areas where:
• Children are connected to others and
contribute to their world.
• Children have a strong sense of identity and
well-being.
• Character Building
• Social Development
• Emotional Development
• Behavior Development
Try to understand your child’s ideas and feelings, consider
them in your family life. Things which seem trivial to you
can be very important to your child.
• Include your children in family plans and decisions whenever
possible. Help them feel that they are an important member
of the family.
• The entire method is based on Montessori’s observations
and understanding of the child .
• Goal of early childhood education is to cultivate the child’s
own natural desire to learn.
• From conception to age 4, the individual develops 50% of his
mature intelligence, from ages 4 - 8 he develops another
30%…(Bloom)
• Children absorb information from the environment.

Sensorial activities are used in

Home-School Connection
we are equal partners in your child’s education.
Parent information sessions
Communication
Collaboration for student success
Coordination
Television & computer games do not encourage concentration -
there is too much going on visually for the brain to truly
concentrate. Free play, outside or inside, alone or with others,
allows a child to become absorbed in their own thoughts &
increase concentration.
 Materials used in the classroom develop the muscle
coordination needed for later learning.
THIS IS WHAT WE EXPECT OF
BRAINIACS STUDENTS

SUPPORTIVE LANGUAGE – Speak politely using a

friendly tone, encourage others
ON TIME – Be in your seat when the bell rings, and
have your work finished.
APPROPRIATE CONDUCT – Understand and follow
instructions, inform teachers about problems, especially
those related to safety, like bullying, conflicts etc
READINESS – Do your work, have it ready, and be
ready to participate
SUGGESTIONS
Kindly encourage your child to read books.
This will go a long way in

developing good communication &

language skills. Verbal skills are as
important as writing skills.

Make it a point that your child reads

everyday at least for 30 minutes to 60
minutes.
Day to day discussions at home to update
children knowledge on current affairs and
General knowledge….. Especially these
conversations can be held during dinner at
dining table. Children can learn about
important events in country and abroad.

Parents must encourage positive attitude of

children and ensure constructive interactions.

Children should be good listeners as well as

they should learn to speak freely.
Nurture the creative skills of your child.

We would recommend that children

participate in all aptitude tests as this is
going to lay the foundation for success in
competitive exams at a later stage.

Even if a child wants to study commerce,

foundation in mathematics is very important.

Exaggerate about your child’s strengths,

shower praise on him and gently highlight
his/her weaknesses.
OUR VISION AND MISSION

Vision
Every student is inspired to learn
and empowered to excel
Mission
We cultivate a vibrant learning
community that prepares students
to thrive in a dynamic world
" We promise you everyday your children will
learn something. Some days they will bring it
home in their hands. Some days they will bring it
home in their heads. And some days they will
bring it home in their hearts."
Ensure that your children dress up well, as
this will boost their confidence.

Every Monday & Wednesday, the Tiffin should

compulsorily have fruits, salads, sprouts.

Do not stuff the lunch boxes with more than

what the child can eat.

Children are not encouraged to stay in the

school premises beyond the school hours.
