BACKGROUND INFORMATION
G13 CONSULT
G13 Engineering Consult is a non-Governmental organization (NGO).
Registered under the code 1963 Act 157, on the 4th April, 2010.
The sole objective is assisting rural communities with infrastructural
development and basic needs for a comfortable livelihood.

To determine the likely impacts of a given project on the affected persons and
environment.
To propose possible mitigation measures and monitoring.

PROJECT AFFECTED PERSONS(PAP)

Any person or persons, household, firms, or public or private institutions who on account of a development
project would have their;
Standard of living adversely affected;
Right, title or interest in all or any part of a house, land (including residential, commercial, agricultural,
plantations, forest and/or grazing land), water resources or any other moveable or fixed assets acquired,
possessed, restricted or otherwise adversely affected, in full or in part, permanently or temporarily; and/or
Business, occupation, place of work or residence, or habitat adversely affected, with or without
displacement.
Project affected persons may therefore include the following:
Persons affected directly by the right-of-way or construction work area;
Persons whose agricultural land or other productive assets such as trees, standing crops are affected;
Persons whose businesses are affected and who might experience loss of income due to the project impact;
Persons who lose work/employment as a result of project impact; and
People who lose access to community resources/property as a result of the project.
