By: Kaitlin Ennis, Kayla Pfendler, and Tiger Maxwell

Early Canines

● Dogs evolved from wolves 32,000

years ago.
● Dogs in China only became
domesticated 16,000 years ago.
● Early canines were worshipped by
their early owners.

Why Did Dogs Approach Humans?

● Wolves would eat leftovers

thrown outside encampments.
● They became accustomed to
humans leaving food.
● The wolves eventually began to
beg for food.

What Changed?

● Humans and dogs evolved

through parallel evolution.
● Dietary similarities caused dogs
to change anatomically.
● Canines biochemistry shifted.
● This was proven by modern
medicine.

Dog Worshipping

● Cave depictions of dogs

alongside men are commonly
seen.
● Skulls of canines were discovered
with markings on them.
● Dog bones and teeth were used to
decorate necklaces.

● These are the same genes found
in Williams-Beuren syndrome.

become more friendly and
extremely social.

unlike Neanderthals.
● They protected humans and their
food.
● Hunted, which limited the
Neanderthals food supply.
