Introduction to TeleMedicine
 The use of telecommunication(transmission of signs, signals,
messages, words, writings, images and sounds or information
of any nature by wire, radio, optical or electromagnetic
systems) and information technology( store, retrieve,
transmit, and manipulate data, or information) to provide
clinical health care from a distance. It has been used to
overcome distance barriers and to improve access to medical
services that would often not be consistently available in
distant rural communities.
Why To create this system
 We are developing this system for a “Dr Mewat Shah (neuro
surgeon)”. He visit village to check their patients once a
week. So that’s why he want a system which will help him to
check their patients from his clinic in the city.
Existing Clinic System
 Either the doctor should visit the village every week which
is time wasting and very tough for a doctor. or the patient
should visit the clinic in the city. Here he will take an
appointment and will wait for his number. So it is time
wasting and money wasting process.
Proposed system
 This system should help the doctor to check their patient via
video conferencing. The doctor should suggest some test if
required. The nurse will be there along with patient which
will check the patient and will use this system. the nurse will
sent the test report through this system, and then the doctor
will sent the prescription for the patient and nurse will print
it. This system will also gives chatting facility.

 IP should be dynamic
 Online appointment system
 A mobile app for an appointment
 Different medical devices like digital B.P machine should be
connected and that data will be sent to the physician.
 Laboratory should be connected with this system
 Patient data should be stored in the system along with date to use
for the future.
 The system must contains a notification facility to notify the
patient about the appointment
 The patient data needs to be more secure
 Need hardware devices like high resolution camera.
