Introduction

 we are going to talk about the global

health problems, which were important
before, statistics, foundations and days
related to health.
The global guardian of public
health:
 the unite nations, since its inception, has been actively involved in
promoting and protecting good health worldwide.
 in 1948,WHO took over the responsibility for the international
classification of diseases, wich has become the international
standart forn defining and reporting diseases and health canditions
World Health Statistics: Monitoring
health for the SDG’s
 global health encompass the priorities in this area. The data is
organized to track progress towards the achievement of the
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular indicators on
the health situation to monitor progress towards the overall health
goal.
 Sub-Saharan Africa, which faces the greatest difficulties. One million
workers are appreciated. Sub-Saharan Africa, which accounts for
25% of the global burden of disease, only accounts for 3% of the
world total.
Since its creation WHO has contributed to mani historic archiviements in global
public health work (between 1950 and 2014). Some of them are:
1. antibiotics
2. polio
3. small Pox
4. Tuberculosis
5. AIDS, tuberculosis and Malaria
6. Childen's mortality
7. hearth disease, diabetes and cancer
8. Ebola virus outbreak
world health statistics: monitoring
health for the SDG's

 Less than half the people in the world today get

all of the health services they need.
 In 2010, almost 100 million people were pushed
into extreme poverty because they had to pay
for health services out of their own pockets.
 13 million people die every year before the age
of 70 from cardiovascular disease, chronic
respiratory disease, diabetes and cancer – most
in low and middle-income countries.
 Every day in 2016, 15,000 children died before
reaching their fifth birthday.
Other UN agencies and funds
involved in health
 It would be misleading to suggest that the entire work of the UN
system in support of global health rests with the WHO. On the
countrary, many members of the UN family are engaged in this
critical task.
UN observances related to health:
 In addition to World health day (7 april), annual international
observances relkating to health, as promaicled by the general
assembly, include World water day (22 march), World autism
awareness day (2 april), World no-tabacco day (31 may), the
International Day against Drug Abuse and ilicit trafficking (26 june),
World mental Health day (10 october), World Diabetes day (14
november), World AIDS day (1 december)
Conclusion
 Inconclusion, we can see that health
problems are global and statistics show it,
we also have foundations and dates that
are not recognized in their entirety.
