Social Media in a Work and

Classroom Environment
Janice Lugo
Adriana Galindo
Social Media has many
advantages. Whether it is to
communicate with family
and friends, for
entertainment, or for
business.
However, most people do not know that it’s a very helpful tool
in the classroom. It provides students and teachers with great
amount of resources. What happened in the classroom can now
be transferred online. Classroom discussions, group activities,
assignments and more are now part of online courses that allow
for online collaboration.
It can also be implemented in a training
environment. This could help with research, a
professional profile, and keep in touch with your
peers.
Out of all these platforms that exist, we found that
the most efficient and important are LinkedIn and
Twitter.
