What will Religious Education look like in
my classroom?
• Model good behaviours to students.
• Prayer corner.
• Prayer will be included in everyday classroom life.
• Students will all be treated with respect, kindness
and love, every child is precious.
• The Students will be preparing for Confirmation in
Term 3. They will be learning about the fruits and
gifts of the Holy Spirit and how these Gifts help them
to become well rounded Catholics.

CONFIRMATION
• Confirmation should be parish based and
supported by parents and the school.
• The Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrating the
gift of the Holy Spirit.
• Confirmation unities us firmly to Christ
• It roots s deeply in the divine filiation, as children
of God.
• It graces us with more gifts of the Holy Spirit.
• Renders our bond with the Church.
• Confirmation gives us special strength of the Holy
Spirit to spread and defend the faith and action as
true witnesses of God.
Parent Activity
In groups of 5 brainstorm ways that you can assist
your children in their confirmation and faith
journey.
We will discuss this in 10 minutes.
