GENEVA

THE CITY OF WATCHES

Geneva is the second largest city in Switzerland and is located on the border
between this and France. A city surrounded by the beauty of the Alps that is
reflected in the architecture of the buildings. Because it is near the French country,
we can say that it has adopted much of the romanticism of this country. We argue
that Geneva is one of the places where all lovers will feel spoiled and privileged.
IF YOU ARRIVE IN GENEVA YOU
SHOULD VISIT:
The Artesian
Fountain - is the
most visited tourist
spot in the city.
There is no tourist
to reach Geneva
and not to shoot in
front of the
fountain. What's
new about this is
that it is vertically
throwing a 140-
meter high jet of
water.
A symbol of the
world's famous
watch industry is in
Geneva, Flower
Clock
Currently, the floral
clock is composed
of 8 circles, colors
and plants varying
depending on the
season. An
interesting aspect is
the fact that the
secondary of the
clock is the largest
in the world, more
than 2.5 meters long
THE BOTANICAL GARDEN OF GENEVA SHELTERS OVER 16,000
PLANT SPECIES, INCLUDING ROSES AND DAHLIAS, MEDICINAL
HERBS, EXOTIC FLOWERS AND OTHERS. THE BIRD SPECIES
THERE ARE AS COLORFUL AS THE FLOWERS
Last but not least, the Geneva lake
The surroundings of the lake are truly spectacular, tourists can choose between prolonged hikes
(drumeții), well-arranged ski slopes, places to admire the world's finest and most ferocious animals.
They are inspired by a multitude of localities, picturesque places, Swiss villages of unique beauty.
