AM TRANSMITTER
• In AM transmitter ,the amplitude of Carrier wave is varied in proportional
to the message signal.
• The frequency of the carrier signal is usually much greater than the highest
frequency of the input message signal.

ADVANTAGES ,DISADVANTAGES OF AM
Advantages
• AM transmitters are less complex .
• AM receivers are simple, detection is easy .
• AM receivers are cost efficient .
• AM waves can travel a longer distance .Low bandwidth.
Disadvantages
• AM wave gets affected due to noise.

FUTURE SCOPE
• In our future work, this AM transmitter will be extended to
AM Receiver.
• We will enhance our existing Am transmitter and try to get
better modulation index.
• We will also try to make FM transmitter and receiver and
compare with AM transmitter and receiver.
