INTRODUCTION
• The way English is taught in schools

• Three main school systems in Pakistan, namely public, community‐based and

private.

• 31% educational institutes are run by private sector while 69% are public institutes.

• Majority of public school teachers went to public schools themselves as students

• Quantity and quality of resources, including human resources, allocated for

teaching and learning.

Unorganized Syllabus
• Government change syllabus
• Over the years, The education policies have not been properly
and effectively implemented
• The primary school curriculum is outdated
• Students are forced to memorize the content
• It is useless and impractical
Examination Criteria
• Students take it as a subject
• The examination condition is also going worst
• The system of exam is outdated
• Examination are influenced by institutional politics
• The quality of paper setting and checking is poor
Untidy environment
• Lack of cleanliness and an untidy environment can also become
major distraction for a student / Lack of concentration
• Health issues
• Attendance failure
• Low performance

Teacher training is also known as teacher education (TE) in which
teachers are given knowledge how to improve attitudes,
behaviors, and skills they require performing their tasks effectively in
the classroom, school, and wider community. IT is of

 Government VS Private Schools
Government Schools
• All the staff of government always suffered
from the recklessness of teachers and in this
way only poor children suffer and a teacher
gets their salaries without giving any
knowledge and English skills.
• Salaries are paid by Government to the faculty
either they teach or not.
• Large amount of students as well as teachers
are absent in government schools and colleges
that’s why student do not gain knowledge and
not speak English very well.
• In majority of government schools there is no
facility which is needed to the students.
• In government schools teachers are not well
trained especially English teachers, because
they do not know about the skills of English
language as well as tenses.
Private Schools
• All the private schools are English medium and
not in all private institutions but in several, they
have a strict rule to speak and write in English.
• In private institutes, the teachers are
responsible, punctual to their duties and teach
and give proper time to each and every
individual equally.
• Full attention is paid to each and every
individual during studies.
• Private institutes are having complete
feasibilities which are needed by the students.
• Attendance is also considered mandatory.
