Field Test Schedule


• Customer Commitment to perform testing – go ahead to ship hardware &
equipment - 6 mth lead time:
• All Combustion Hardware to Arrive on Site. Test Engineering Team arrives to begin site
preparation – 2 weeks prior to outage
• GE DLN TA to baseline the dynamics and emissions on unit (pre-test)
(test points to be provided by Combustion Design Engineering) – 2 days prior to outage

Day 3: Remove Existing Combustion System & complete modifications to Test

Mini-Inspection Plan
Proposed Schedule for Mini-Inspection @ 1,000 – 1,500 Fired hours (dates estimated only):
Day 1: Begin Outage on Unit
Day 2: Remove instrumented hardware - replace with new EL components
Plug Instrumentation ports in manhole covers as required
Detailed inspection of Instrumented Caps, Liners, and TP’s
Full Borescope Inspection of all other chambers (2 through 17)
Day 4: Assuming no issues are encountered, restart unit
Perform normal tuning split checks up to base-load
Day 6: After tuning has been verified, Combustion team departs site
