INTRODUCTION 2

 Kendriya Vidyalaya 39GTC,came into existence in 1981 amidst the


benign natural surroundings of (Gorkha Training Centre) premises.
Away from the chaos of city life, the peaceful surrounding help
students to concentrate on studies.
 Being one of the problems and challenges of teaching and learning
process.
 Presently, the Vidyalaya with the strength of 2018 students appear
from class I to class Xl(4section each ) and class XII (5 sections) with
the commerce, science and Arts stream is running into triple-
storeyed building.
ACHIEVEMENT IN ACADEMICS 3

 There are 10 students from the school scored 10 CGPA in class 10


 In class 12 the highest percentage score by a student in science steam is 93.20%
 In class 12 the highest percentage score by a student in commerce steam is
90.10%

 Kabaddi Boys – winner of Regional sports meet


 Kabaddi Girls – Runner of Regional sports meet
 Athletics Boys – overall runner of Regional sports meet
 Athletics Girls – Over all 2nd runners of Regional sports meet
 Chess U- 17 Boys – winner of Regional sports meet
 Taekwondo Boys – 2nd runner of Regional sports meet
 Volley ball Boys – runner of Regional sports meet
 Archery Boys & Girls – winner of Regional sports meet
 Rope skipping Boys & Girls – winner of Regional sports meet
 Total 189 students of vidhyalaya participated in Regional Sports meet in different
games and sports. Out of 189 total 54 ( 21 girls & 33 boys ) students selected for KVS
National Sports meet
EXTRA CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES 5

 Bhasha Sangam initiative under the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat ushers in a


programme for schools and educational institutions to provide multilingual exposure
to students in Indian languages listed in Schedule VIII of the Constitution of India. This
initiative is just the beginning of a journey meant to create interest in these
languages and a curiosity to learn more. It will be followed by other activities
subsequently.
 Objectives of Bhasha Sangam:
i) To introduce school students to all the 22 Indian Languages of Schedule VIII of
the Constitution of India.
ii) To enhance linguistic tolerance and respect, and promote national integration
