Kendriya Vidyalaya 39GTC,came into existence in 1981 amidst the
benign natural surroundings of (Gorkha Training Centre) premises. Away from the chaos of city life, the peaceful surrounding help students to concentrate on studies. Being one of the problems and challenges of teaching and learning process. Presently, the Vidyalaya with the strength of 2018 students appear from class I to class Xl(4section each ) and class XII (5 sections) with the commerce, science and Arts stream is running into triple- storeyed building. Bhasha Sangam initiative under the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat ushers in a
programme for schools and educational institutions to provide multilingual exposure to students in Indian languages listed in Schedule VIII of the Constitution of India. This initiative is just the beginning of a journey meant to create interest in these languages and a curiosity to learn more. It will be followed by other activities subsequently.
