 Mahindra tractors the farm equipment division of
Mahindra & Mahindra , builds and sources tractors
that are sold worldwide across six continents.
 In 2010 Mahindra became the no. one selling tractor
in the world . It has a huge consumer base in INDIA,
USA, CHINA and a growing base in AUSTRALIA.
 The company builds more tractors in India than any
other manufacturer and has a capacity to build 150,000
tractors a year
 Mahindra’s net worth is 880 million USD

TRACTOR
A tractor is a vehicle specifically designed to deliver a
high tractive effort (or torque) at slow speeds, for the
purposes of hauling a trailer or machinery used in
agriculture or construction. Most commonly, the term is
used to describe a farm vehicle that provides the power
and traction to mechanize agricultural tasks, especially
(and originally) village but nowadays a great variety of
tasks.

TECHNOLOGY
 The Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) bears testimony to the
Mahindra Group’s commitment, to technology-driven
innovation. The facility houses engineering research and
product development wings for automobiles and tractors, all
under one roof. The state-of-the-art MRV facility, was
inaugurated by His Excellency, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam,
Honourable Former President of India.
 The R&D centre has several facilities including a world class
Engine Development Centre (EDC), NVH lab, Fatigue Test Lab,
alternate fuels, passenger safety and polymer technology labs, to
name a few. MRV has completely equipped proto shops to
support the development and research in new products and new
technologies and has the test tracks, to check the reliability of
vehicles and tractors
