Training Activity at

Transport Academy,
Hakimpet

Dy.CPM(R,T&W)
TSRTC Transport Academy is a center for imparting
training to Officers and Supervisors of the
Corporation.
Training activity is
 an integral part for effective functioning of the
Organization
 acts as a catalyst to hone the skills of the
employees
 to equip the latest developments, which would
help in discharging the duties more effectively
Various training programmes are planned throughout the
year based on the Annual Training Calendar (ATC) approved
by the Executive Director (Administration)

Training activity for officers and supervisors include:

 Induction programme,

 Periodical Refresher training,

 Re-orientation training for promotees,

 work-shops and Seminars by OEMs,

 Conducting Departmental qualifying examinations for


promotions and declaration of probation,

 Customized training programmes on driving and


maintenance of vehicles for Govt. Departments like
GHMC, Fire Services, TRICOR etc.
• Transport Academy was established in 1990 by
the Corporation for in-house training activity
• Academy is located in a sprawling lush green
area covering 24 acres of land, 15 KMs from
Secunderabad on Karimnagar high way
• An administrative building with 3 spacious well
equipped classrooms with audio visual aids, LCD
projectors, Library, Driving lab, Computer lab,
high speed internet are provided.
• A separate hostel building having 36 rooms and a
dinning hall is provided in a peaceful environment
to facilitate stay for 108 inmates.
• Renowned faculty specialized in their respective
fields are invited to address the trainees.
Induction programme

The Academy imparts induction training to the newly


recruited

Theoretical training is imparted at Academy and the
trainees will be directed to depots / units for practical
training

The training programme is designed basically for 52 weeks.

 Personnel management (Theory & Practical) at Depot/

 Finance management (Theory & Practical) at Depot/Offices
 Computers & Management Information system (Theory &
practical) at Depots/ Offices
 Visit to CIRT/ other STUs
 DM under study
 Conducting of Tests and evaluations
 Medaram/ Shivarathri Jathra operations
Induction for Trainee Accounts Officers
The training programme is designed for 26 weeks. The module
covers,

 Depot Traffic management (Theory & Practical)

 Computers & Management Information system (Theory &
practical) at Depots/ Offices

Induction for Traffic Supervisor Trainee (TSTs)
The training programme is scheduled for 52 weeks. Module

 Computers – theory and practical classes

 Controllers and ADC duties (Theory & Practical)

 DC and Traffic Inspector Gr III, Dy. Supt , Supt and Asst
Manager duties, enquiries, Bus station management,
Checking squads – theory & practical
 Key parameters in Operational department at RM office
Capsule-V
 Maintenance, Materials, Personnel and finance- theory for 2 weeks
 Visit to STUs of neighboring states
 Independent charge - Tests and evaluations
 Jathra operations
Induction for Mechanical Supervisor Trainee (MSTs)

The training programme is planned for 52 weeks. Module


contains,
 Induction and General Management (Theory)
 Statutory Laws applicable to TSRTC
 Maintenance management – OEM – theory
 Depot Maintenance management – theory & practical
 Workshop management – theory & practical
 Tyre retreading shop – theory & practical
 Material Management, Zonal Stores & BBW –theory and
practical
 Visit to OEMs and VM – demo at production units

practical

Induction for Trainee Security Sub Inspector

managerial skills. The duration of the programme is 2

• Workshops and Seminars are being organized with the


assistance of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
viz., Ashok Leyland, TATA Motors, EICHER, SCANIA, JK
Tyres, HPCL, IOCL, PCRA etc., to impart training about
the latest developments in technology and
maintenance practices of various units/vehicles.

and maintenance is imparted to the officers of Fire
Services, GHMC, TRICOR thereby generated additional
revenue to the corporation. Pursuing with SC Corpn.,
Singareni Seva Samithi to impart LMV & HMV training
to the unemployed youth.
