 In 1975 Tony Tan Caktiong and
his brother opened ice cream
parlor.

 In 1978 brothers incorporated the


company to Jollibee to have
greater sales with their ice cream.

 Jollibee was named with the


combination of Jolly and Bee that
means happy in serving people.

What is Health and Safety Management?
 A health and safety management system
(HSMS) is a systematic approach put in
place by an employer to minimize the risk of
injury and illness. It involves identifying,
assessing, and controlling risks to workers in
all workplace operations.

-to minimize or eliminate work related incidents.

 Ensure health and security of production


-to ensure the workers health.
-to prevent contaminations to food from sick workers.

What is a Health and Safety Officer?
Health and Safety Officers are responsible
for preventing accidents and injuries in the
workplace, and ensuring that all staff are
provided with a safe and secure
environment to work in.
