“Ano bala ang makuha
sang isa ka tawo kon
maangkon niya ang bug-os
nga KALIBUTAN, pero
madula niya ang iya
KABUHI? WALA GID.”-
Mark 8:36
magpas-an sang iya krus kag mag-upod sa akon. 35
Wala gid!.
Introduction:

1. When you see a man

selling handkerchiefs
and still sweating
profusely, it tells you
that possession is not the
same as ownership!
2. Your life belongs to
God; you are only
having it but you don’t
own it.
So, be careful what you
do with your life before
the owner asks for it.
I. Who is Alexander the Great?
• Son of Phillip II and Queen
Olympia
• King of Ancient Greece of the
kingdom of Macedon
• Undefeated in Battle
• One of the history most successful
military commander – a genius
military commander
• He died of the age of 32 in the palace
of Nebuchadnezzar in a wine
poisoning
• His private tutor is Aristotle
Listen to the last wishes of Alexander the Great
on his death bed…
Alexander summoned his Army Generals and
told them his 3 ultimate wishes.
1. The best doctors should carry his coffin.
2. the wealth he has accumulated
a. money
b. gold
c. precious stone
should be scattered along the procession to the
cemetery.
3. His hands should be let loose, so it hang
outside the coffin for all to see.
II. One of his Generals who was surprised
by those unusual requests asked Alexander
to explain.

Here is what Alexander the Great has to

say:
1. I want the best doctors to carry my
coffin
 to demonstrate that in the face of
death, even the best doctors in the
world have no power to heal.
2. I want the road to be covered
with all my treasures so that everybody
sees that material wealth on earth will
stay on earth.

3. I want my hands to swing in

the wind, so that people understand
that we come to this world empty
handed and we leave this world empty
handed, after the most precious
treasure of all is exhausted, that is
TIME.
A. We do not take to our grave any
material wealth.

B. Time- is our most precious

treasure because it is limited.

C. We can produce more wealth , but

we cannot produce more time.
III.
A. When we give someone our Time, we
actually give a portion of our life that we
will never take back.

B. Our time is our life because there are 3

important things in our life that never
come back when gone.

Time
Words
Opportunity
C. The best present that we can give
to our family and people close to us
is our quality time where God is
always at the center in everything;
it maybe in all our conversations
and what we are doing.
IV. What kind of life and time does God expect
from each one of us today?
1. To OBEY the most important and
greatest commandment found in
Matthew 22: 37-
“ You must love the Lord your God with
all your heart, with all your soul, and with all
your mind,” a second is equally important
“ Love your neighbor as you love yourself.”
This is looking at God’s law positively rather
than worrying about all we should not do, we
should concentrate on all we can do to show our
love to others.
2. To follow His great commission in
Matthew 28:19-20
“ Go and make disciples of all nations
baptizing them in the name of the Father and
of the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching
them to obey everything I have commanded
you and surely I am with you and always to the
very end of the age.
We are to go – whether it is next door or to
another country – and make disciples. It is not
an option, but a command to all who call Jesus
“LORD”.
We are not all evangelists in the formal
sense, but we have all received gifts that we
can use to help fulfill the Great Commission.
As we obey we have comfort in the
knowledge that Jesus is always with us.
Matthew 28:19 The disciples were to share
the gospel because it is the only thing that
unites a believer with Jesus Christ in his/her
death in sin and resurrection to new life; and
Baptism symbolizes submission to Christ
a willingness to live God’s way, and
identification with God’s covenant people.
Conclusion

TIME is very fast fleeting away.

SALVATION, the Good News must be
shared to everyone because we love
GOD and we are commanded to bring
salvation to all people because we are
accountable for them if we fail to do
our responsibility. Let us do it now
before its too late .
There is no forever in life here on earth. Forever
is when you put Jesus in your heart.
