COMPUTER PROGRAM
• A PROGRAM or COMPUTER PROGRAM is a
set of instructions that a computer follows.
• A PROGRAM tells a computer what to do.
• Whatever the action of a computer is and
what it is capable of doing depends on how
it was programmed.
COMPUTER PROGRAMMING
• is the process of writing instructions that
get executed by computers.
• The instructions, also known as CODE, are
written in a programming language which
the computer can understand and use to
perform a task or solve a problem.
COMPUTER PROGRAMMER
• A computer programmer is a skilled professional who
codes, tests, debugs, and maintains the comprehensive
instructions.
• Computer programmers also conceptualize, design, and
test logical structures to solve computer issues.
• Programmers make use of specific computer languages
like C, C++, Java, PHP, .NET, etc. to convert the program
designs developed by software developers or system
architects into instructions that the computer could
follow.

• Write application programs for desktop computers

3. WEB PROGRAMMERS

• Responsible for developing and adding interactivity and

functionality to a website. Their task is to make websites
dynamic by making functions that enable a customer to
shop online, to bid, or to make online payments.
• They are also responsible for building security into their
programs that would prevent hackers and identity thieves
from stealing data and information from transacting
online.
4. GAME PROGRAMMERS

• Write codes that run and control the game. Games

have different platforms such as console, handheld,
mobile, online where the development is a
complicated process and requires a solid technical
programming background.
