Per DOST-PAGASA’s Severe Weather Bulletin Number 21 issued on 17


December as of 11:00 AM, Typhoon (TY)3 Nona (Melor) has weakened into Low
Pressure Area (LPA). All Public Storm Warning Signals (PSWS) are now lifted.
However, the LPA is expected to bring light to moderate rains and isolated
thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

Per DOST-PAGASA’s Rainfall Warning (RW)4 issued 17 December 2015


as of 12:30 PM, light to moderate rains affecting Metro Manila, Bulacan,
Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and the
rest of Quezon province which may persist for 2-3 hours. Meanwhile General

• EiE is a basic need of children during emergencies
• EiE is an important feature of an emergency response
• EiE has five domains and several technical standards that
must be considered during emergencies
• EiE should be contextualized in different settings depending
on the situation and needs
• The Humanitarian Cluster system is a coordination
mechanism that facilitates effective humanitarian response
during periods of emergency.
