What is a SpreadsheetSoftware?
•allows users to organize data
in rows an columns and
perform calculations on the
data
•These rows and columns
collectively are called
worksheet.
Examples of SpreadsheetSoftware:

• LibreOffice Calc
• OpenOffice.org Calc
• Google Sheets
• Apple iWork Numbers
• Kingsoft Office Spreadsheets
• StarOffice Calc

• Functions – are predefined
formulas and are already
available in Excel
• Formula Bar – the bar that
displays the contents of a cell
